It's birthday time at our house and my kids came up with this idea for my husband.  He has just recently broken his personal best score, on one credit, and earned a spot on the arcade's High Score board.  Here is just a little celebration cake for him.

Tiger Tickets

Our school hands out Tiger Tickets to encourage continued good behavior.  For years, the Tiger Ticket they handed out was a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of several copies grouped together.  I'm not even sure anyone could ever remember, let alone put their hands on an original.  So I took the initiative to redesign the currency with our school's new tiger logo.  I kept it clean and modeled it after real money, with the principal and teacher signature lines and "In Tracey we trust" (the name of our school mascot).  Now all the teachers have nice clean originals.

¡Yo soy un tigre!

My children attend our local neighbor school.  Their school also just happens to offer a Two-Way-Bilingual-Immersion program, and they are learning Spanish.  We came into the school the second year the program was offered and we wanted a way to raise some funds for cultural events throughout the year.  The best way we could think of was a tee-shirt.

Jaxon's Owl Quilt

My youngest sister is expecting her first child and this little guy needed a quilt!  My sister chose a very sweet owl print for his nursery inspiration and I took this guy from the fabric and blew him up for the quilt.  The border around the quilt is made up of tiny, 2 inch 9-patch squares that I pieced.  A definite labor of love for her sweet baby Jaxon.

Splash Pool Guy

When an old friend came to me and asked for a website for his pool cleaning business, I wanted the users to have no doubt what his business was about, pools.  I worked hard to edit and gather images with that great pool color as well as animate the links to have a 'splash' effect when the menu link were hovered over.

Siren Song Logo

My sister opened up her own small business, importing good from around the world as set up a shop along the central coast of Oregon.  She chose this image as her company logo then I got my hands on it and personalized it as her color choices and created a matching website and cards to match.

Hamburgers or Cupcakes?

These are cupcakes for our HOA picnic.  Yellow cake 'buns' and brownie 'patties' gave a burger illusion and the 'fries' were sugar cookies with royal frosting 'ketchup' for dipping.  If they didn't take me all morning to make, and all evening to clean up after myself, I would make them again.
